Wilma R. Smith

July 22, 1936 - February 3, 2019

Wilma R. Smith was born in Preston, Mississippi on Wednesday, July
22, 1936 to Armstead and Endia Velma Coleman.  She departed this life on Sunday, February 3,
2019 at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.  Wilma was the sixth of nine children.

On June 17, 1952, she married the love of her life, Willie D.
Smith, they have been married for 67 years. 
To this union, three children were born-twins, Willie Roy and Willie Troy
and daughter Brenda J. Smith.  They
adopted their granddaughter , Troyia Smith-Anderson, after his
death in 1986, they also have five additional grandchildren.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, son’s, Willie Roy
and Willie Troy , one sister and five brothers.

She is survived by husband, Willie D. Smith, daughter, Brenda J. Smith, grandchildren and their spouse’s, Tracey Foster, Brandon Smith, Troyia Anderson, Shane Wallace, Danny Smith and Dayna Gunter, two sisters, Mrs. Narvel Wilson and Minnie R. McCree of Detroit, Michigan, three sister’s-in-law of Omaha, Nebraska, numerous nieces, nephews, special nephew, Bernard Joe Hulin of  Mississippi, special nieces, Cynthea Coleman and Sherrie Coleman , as well as best friends Marie Brown and Blanch Rush .

Visitation 10-11:00 with Funeral Service 11:00 AM  Friday at Roeder Mortuary 4932 Ames Avenue Omaha, Nebraska; Interment Mount Hope Cemetery Omaha, Nebraska.
