Wille B. Parks

Preceded in death by his mother Carlean Riley, stepfather James Riley, Father Arthur Lee Parks, Brother Levester Parks. Survived By daughter Shiela Morgan and granddaughter Nativia Morgan, brother Archie Parks, a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews, and family. Willie B Parks graduated from Tech High School in 1974. Willie was also a Buddhist and believed that all religions have some kind of truth in them and that light and love are the way back to heaven. Willie B Parks loved music, he enjoyed playing around town at Louis and several other places. His favorite instrument to play was the bass guitar. Willi B also loved horses that he would ride and take care of, he found peace in his horses. Willie B also had over 35 years of sobriety and he was very proud of his accomplishments of helping others stay clean from drugs and alcohol. Wille B was such a gentle soul who would help anyone in need and would give his last to anyone in need. Willie B Parks will be truly missed, his contagious laugh and smile would light up any room. Days before Willie B passed, he stated “Look for me in the sky, for I will be the brightest star in the sky.”
A Celebration of his life will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Roeder Mortuary, 4932 Ames Ave.
