William Joseph Kerkmann, Jr.

William Joseph Kerkmann, Jr. Age 75 of Omaha, Nebraska passed away on July 22, 2021. He was born on September 4, 1945 to William and Mildred Kerkmann in Omaha, Nebraska. Bill was a veteran of the United States Air Force.  Bill was active in Ducks Unlimited and was the chairman for many years.  He received a conservation service award in September of 2002 for his outstanding contributions and volunteered with many activities.  He loved hunting, fishing and doing carpentry work. He was preceded in death by his wife; Shirley, parents; William and Mildred Kerkmann and sister and brother-in-law; Barbara and Jim Steskal. Bill is survived by his daughter; Brenda, son and daughter-in-law; Bill and Nancy, 5-step children; Marcy, Jodi, Vicki, Jeff and Danny, sisters; Deanna Beresh and Linda Balakier, brother; Michael Kerkmann , many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
