 William H. "Bill" Jackson, Jr.

William H. "Bill" Jackson, Jr. was preceded in death by his father, William H Jackson, Sr. and mother, Mary Ann Jackson McGill. He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Lisa Jackson, and son Reilly. He is also survived by sister, Nancy Jackson, brothers in law Dennis Henson, David Henson, Michael Henson, and Charles Henson, Sungwon and Sungha Park, and a number of family and friends. Bill attended Creighton Prep High School,  Creighton University, and UNO. Bill spent thirty two years in law enforcement, his first seven as a member of the Nebraska State Patrol, and next serving twenty five years as a member of the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, where he retired as a lieutenant. Bill loved his family, friends, and to entertain, especially when he was the cook. He enjoyed music, motorcycling, and old sci-fi pictures, especially the bad ones.  He was a history buff, football fan, and always had a story to tell- usually to make those around him laugh. He will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for  continuing education or to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Visitation will be Monday July 25th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roeder Mortuary on 2727 N 108th. Funeral service will be Tuesday July 26th at 11 a.m. at Roeder Mortuary.
