Omaha - Survived by wife Carol, daughters Melanie (Mike) Ryan, Stacie Anderson, grandchildren Tommy, Molly, Maddy, Levi, sister Charlene Morris, and many other loving family and friends.
Bill was an avid hunter and angler, who enjoyed working on his boat and traveling to both local and Minnesota lakes to find the perfect fishing spot. He trained two Brittany Spaniels, named Ginger I and Ginger II, whom he taught to be the perfect hunting partners.
To keep himself busy, he kept score for his grandsons’ baseball teams, volunteered with the high school bass clubs and he rarely missed a sporting event that his daughters or his grandchildren played in. More recently he organized a church food pantry and enjoyed taking part in the chili cook off at a local church. Bill cheered on the Huskers, even when they had a losing season and enjoyed attending and watching NASCAR racing.
