VICTOR L. EVANS WAS BORN JULY 2, 1973 IN OMAHA NEBRASKA TO THE LATE LEROY EVANS AND ARA MAE JOHNSON EVANS.

VICTOR WAS THE FIFTH OF SIX CHILDREN. HE ATTENDED FRANKLIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND GRADUATED FROM CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL IN 1991.

HE ACCEPTED CHRIST AT AN EARLY AGE AND WAS BAPTIZED AT THE ST. PAUL BAPTIST CHURCH.

VICTOR WORKED MANY YEARS IN CUSTODIAN SERVICES UNTIL HIS HEALTH FAILED.

VICTOR LOVED GOING FISHING WITH HIS FRIENDS HARAMBEE, K.P., BIG WILL AND COUSIN ANTHONEY. HOWEVER, HIS PASSION WAS GRILLING AFTER YEARS OF HELPING HIS UNCLE BAR-B-QUE, VICTOR STEPPED UP TO THE CHALLENGE OF TAKING OVER THE GRILLING AND HE REALLY BELIEVED HE HAD THE TOUCHED.

VICTOR WAS A MAN IN A CLASS OF HIS OWN, HIS LAUGHTER WAS CONTAGIOUS TO THOSE AROUND HIM.

WE GRIEVE BECAUSE WE'VE LOST A GREAT FRIEND WHO IMPACTED EACH OF OUR LIVES. WE ALSO REJOICE IN KNOWING THAT VICTOR IS AT PEACE AND FREE FROM PHYSICAL PAIN, AND WE KNOW THAT WE WILL SEE HIM AGAIN VICTOR WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS PARENTS LEROY AND ARA M. EVANS BROTHER, LEVISIT.

VICTOR PASSED FROM THIS LIFE ON TUESDAY OCTOBER 3, 2023.

HE LEAVES TO REJOICE AND CHERISH HIS MEMORIES DAUGHTER, VICTORIA SONS KAIERA AND KASH ALL OF OMAHA.

BROTHERS, CHARLES (ROZ) EVANS, OMAHA, VINCENT (DEBORAH) EVANS LINCOLN NE, JAMES L. EVANS MEMPHIS TENN, SISTER, BEVERLY MURRAY, OMAA, AUNTS, ETHEL AND BENELLA KING, MEMPHIS TENN, CHRISTINE BLAIR, BETTY (BILLY) ALCORN, GLORIA (MACK) JOHNSON, UNCLES, RILEY KING, WALTER (SARA) JOHNSON, ALL OF OMAHA.

SPECIAL FRIENDS, NICOLE GARDNER, PAUL GASKIN, HARAMBEE JACKSON, SONYA COLLINS, AND ANTHONEY ALCORN, ACTIVE AND HONORARY PALLBEARERS. NIECES, NEPHEWS, COUSINS AND A HOST OF OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS.

 

Services will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Roeder Mortuary - Ames Chapel. Visitation from 10 - 11 AM with Funeral Service at 11 AM. Burial to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
