Tom Lewandowski, 68, of Lincoln, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2022, due to complications from ALS.
Tom was the youngest of eight, born in Minneapolis on December 27, 1953. He married Laurie (Pearson) on June 12, 1976. They moved to Omaha in 1985 and lived there until 2020.
Tom was a proud military veteran, serving as a military policeman in Germany. After leaving the military, he spent his career in the printing industry, working for many years as a salesman for Heidelberg, USA.
Outside of work, Tom enjoyed golfing, listening to loud rock music, woodworking, throwing parties, tinkering with house projects, riding his Harley, and spending time with his family and friends. Tom was a happy, positive guy. He was always the life of the party, made everyone feel welcome, never met a stranger, was always smiling, and having fun in the moment. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Tom is survived by his wife Laurie, two children, Tom (Cassie) and Heidi (Nic) Muhle, five grandchildren, Nora, Elise, Jaxson, Brady, Luke, two sisters, Kathy (Roger) Carey and Char (Duane) Freeberg, one brother, Jerry Lee, and his dog Harley.
