Thomas Ray Lowry Booth

Thomas Ray Lowry Booth was born on November 10th, 1943 to his parents Raymond G. Lowry and Martha Ruth Carter. His father went missing in action when he was young, and was later adopted and raised by Jack Booth, and took his last name as well.

To Tom, Faith was one of the most important things a man could have in life, right next to family. He loved many things, and had a deep sense of honor in loving his Faith, his family, his beautiful wife, the Air Force, and in serving his country.

Tom served in the air force for over 30 years, and was proud to do so. He was a Safety Fighter Pilot, and had many stories to tell about his time in the service- and he’d tell them as if they were the first time you’d ever heard it. Since he was in the Air Force- he moved around everywhere. He lived in many beautiful places through his life.

To sum up Tom with a few short things- Family, Air Force, and his story telling. His description of family was everyone he knew. He made sure that everyone he met felt special and loved. While he was certainly very serious and dedicated to the Air Force, he was always the favorite uncle, and the one on the floor crawling around with his numerous nieces, nephews, grandkids, and great grandkids.

Tom is now reunited with his parents, Raymond, Jack, and Ruth, his sisters Joan and Jammie, and his beautiful wife, Mary K.

He is survived by all of you- who are reading this obituary now. That is exactly how he thought of you- as family.

A deep and sincere Thank you, to the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Family, and to all the friends and family that have visited him over the years. He would light up getting to be around loved ones, and telling so many stories and sharing memories.
