Today, we gather to honor and celebrate the life of our beloved Theresa Tibbs, who touched the hearts of everyone she encountered with her Kindness, humor and Style.

Theresa Tibbs was born 6/26/38 born to Walter Tibbs and Theresa Cooper, in total there are 13 brothers and sisters. She has two Living brothers Herbert Tibbs, Richard Tibbs and her sister Marsha Merryweather, Rest in heaven to our Family not here, we love you all.

Theresa was a smart, intelligent woman, she graduated from Tech High School and went on to graduate from college of St. Mary’s

Even though she never had had Children of her own, she loved all of her nieces + nephews like her very own.

Theresa was an outgoing person, her favorite places to be were at the casino, or the horse races. You definitely would never catch her not dress to her best, because US Tibbs always going to step.

Today is a day to reflect on the memories and love we have for our family. The funny stories we shared with her. The moments that we have had, look at this time to reflect on the positive times and see that our family is all that we have.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out, sent texts, stopped by, or helped our family with anything during this time, given all love to our family, her siblings, and host of nieces and nephews, and special friends.

Visitation Wednesday 5 - 7 PM at Roeder Mortuary. Graveside Service 10:00 AM Thursday (8/8/2024) at Mount Hope Cemetery Omaha, NE.
