Susie Ann Harris

Our beloved and honored mother, Susie Ann Harris, was born on February 27, 1933, to parents Benny and Lillie Ware in Sunflower County, Mississippi.

She met and married our father, Andrew W. Harris. From that union eight children were born. When Dad transitioned in August of 1970, Mom raised us by herself with the help of God.

Being honest and faithful were paramount in her life. In the midst of raising eight children as a single mom, she successfully ventured into real estate.

Around 1962 Mom united with Power House Church, becoming the first member under the leadership

of Pastor Robert B. Lane. She served in various capacities, even up to the time of her transition under the current leadership of Bishop Bobby R. Murray. Mom loved her church and her leaders.

REST ON, MOM!

Mother Harris is preceded in death by husband, Andrew W. Harris; sons, Walter, Charles, Michael; and daughter, Margaret Harris.

She is survived by her children, Andrew, Dorothy, Arthur, and Cathie, all of Omaha, Nebraska; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives.
