Omaha - Preceded in death by Elna & John McQuinn (parents), John McQuinn II (brother), Sharon McQuinn (sister), and Amiee McQuinn (daughter).

Survived by wife Chris, children Meghan McQuinn, Nick McQuinn and Steven McQuinn Jr., grandson John, nephew Pat (Tammy), beloved pets, family and friends.

Steve was an animal lover who dedicated 23 years of service to the Nebraska Humane Society as an animal control officer.  He then served the city of Omaha as an Operations Supervisor for Deffenbaugh Industries for 17 years.  Steve retired at 62 and enjoyed his time working in his shed/workshop; tending to his vegetable garden; Spoonbill fishing at Gavins Point Dam; feeding and watching the birds and wildlife at his many bird feeders around his home; and spending time with friends, family and his beloved pets.

Steve had a great sense of humor that will be sorely missed and was someone you could count on whenever you needed him.  

Visitation Wednesday, November 16, 2022 3-4 PM with Memorial Service at 4:00 PM at Roeder Mortuary 108th Chapel.  Memorials to the family to be determined later.
