Jake’s Life Story

Jake’s life was full of love and laughter. Born in Omaha, he was blessed with a deep connection to his family and friends who became family along the way.

He was a dedicated and hard worker, achieving so much in his 34 years as a Project Planner at the Fort Calhoun nuclear plant. He built multiple homes and loved his hot rods.

Jake and the love of his life traveled from oceans to icebergs, yet he always found peace at the family cabin in North Bend. His fishing trips “to all the lakes” gave him countless memories he held close until the end.

Above all, his loving wife, children, grandchildren, and devoted sister were his greatest strength. They helped carry him through every challenge he faced.

His jolly laughter and sharp, sarcastic banter could light up any room. His hugs were second to none. Jake’s heart was too big for this world, but his love lives on in the next.
