Steven D. Edwards

Steven (Steve) Dale Edwards (69), beloved father, grandfather, brother, and son, passed away peacefully in his home on May 1st, 2024, in Omaha, Nebraska. He was born on October 28th, 1954, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Richard and Lois Edwards. 

 Steve was in several rock bands in his younger years and grew to be a very talented guitar player.  He became a skilled custom iron fabricator and created many intricate pieces for the Street of Dreams. He was an avid Chicago sports fan, especially the Chicago Bears. More recently, his favorite baseball team was that of his oldest grandson, Ari. 

 Steve is survived by his daughters Emily Edwards (Devin), and Alyson Garcia (Alfonso), as well as his grandsons Ari and Ace Garcia.  He is also survived by his brothers Michael (Michelle) Edwards, and Brian (Jennifer) Edwards, along with their families. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Lois Edwards. 

 Steve will be deeply missed by his daughters, family, and friends. His love for his daughters knew no bounds and he was incredibly proud of the women they became.
