Shawntae Monique Jenkins

Age 59 - Shawntae Monique Jenkins was born October 29th 1963 in Omaha, Nebraska. On February 18th 2023, Shawntae was surrounded by loved ones when she took her final breaths. Shawntae grew up in South Omaha where she was known and loved by everyone.

Shawntae attended Indian Hills Elementary, graduated from Omaha South High School, and attended Metro Community College working towards a degree in Criminal Justice. She worked as a Corrections Officer at Douglas County Department of Corrections for 20 years. She enjoyed family gatherings, playing spades, attending basketball games, and spending time with her granddaughters.

She was proceeded in death by her Mother Christabelle Marion-Joseph, father Willie Joseph and brother Carlton Jenkins. Shawntae is survived by her sons, Sharif and Michael Jenkins, grand children Kira Jenkins, Amora McAfee-Jenkins, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Shawntae will definitely be missed by all her loved ones.
