Sharon was the daughter of Edward and Esther (Menning) Boone. She grew up in Sheldon, la. and attended Dana College in Blair Ne. She taught music in Waterloo, Ne. and the Omaha Public Schools for 10 yrs. She returned to education, after staying home with her children, in Resource in the Ralston schools and in Special Education at Westside High School. She received "Volunteer of the Year" award in Millard Schools for many volunteer positions and serving on several committees. She also held several music positions at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millard.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, parents, Edward and Esther and a brother, Loren. She is survived by her three children: favorite son Michael (Lisa) ; favorite son Matthew (Courtney) ; favorite daughter Christina (Jeff) . She has eight cherished grandchildren: Josiah, Levi, Stella, Ethan (Mike); Kenley, Grant (Matthew); Chloe, Charlie (Christina). She is also survived by: sister Glenda (Don) VanOtterloo; brothers: Arlan (Evelyn) Boone; Pastor Verlyn Boone ; sister-in-law Carol Boone ; many nieces and nephews.
