Sandra M. Hamilton

Sandra Marie (Cook) Hamilton, preceded in death by her parents William E. & Olive Ruth Cook(Tegland), sister Willa Ruth (Cook) Haag, and brother William E. Cook Jr. Loving mother and grandmother. She grew up in Des Moines Iowa. Converted to Catholicism as an adult and was very strong in her faith and involvement in the church and various ministries. She loved helping others through the Stephen's ministry and Beginning Experience for divorced and widowed.

She worked for many years as a legal secretary at the firm of Mark's, Clare, and Richards before retiring to spend time with her daughters and grandchildren. She loved watching any Husker sports, especially football and volleyball. Her grandchildren always looked forward to Grandma Sandy sharing her cookies with them. 

Survived by daughters Danica (Matt) Canaday, Marci (Brian) Paben, Melissa (Jay) Hamilton, grandchildren Elliot, Olivia, Vaughn, Piper, family and friends.

Visitation Saturday 10:00 - 11:00 AM at mortuary. Memorial Service 11:00 AM Saturday (9/5/2026) at Roeder Mortuary.
