Sister Ruthie Perry was born to the parents of James and Frances Daniel, on October 16, 1942 in Hamburg, Arkansas.

She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and became a member of Sweet Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Selma, Arkansas.

In 1965 she moved to Omaha, Nebraska and was united in holy matrimony to Robert N. Perry.

She joined the the Second Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor H. Stewart and assistant Pastor David Triplett until their death and now her present Pastor Lamont Smith. She served as a faithful deaconess, choir member and part of the kitchen committee until her health failed.

She leaves to cherish in loving memory; son Darren Daniel, granddaughter and great grandson Shyretta and Spencer Johnson, grandson and great grandson De'Narius and Iyam Daniel. Brother Ben Daniel of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Sister Arlean Pierce, Brother Frank Daniel and a very special aunt and companion Johnnie McGhee all of Omaha, Nebraska and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Public Visitation Monday, June 8, 2020 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at mortuary. Burial in Selma, AR.
