Ruth was born in Thayer Co., NE.She was a teacher in one room country schools in Fillmore and Thayer counties. She also taught elementary school in Hyannis NE and Omaha NE. The family lived in Lincoln NE, Hastings NE as well as Omaha. Survived by daughter Ardeth Henderson; grandchildren Brian Henderson, Amy Henderson ; great-grandchildren Ava and Parker; nieces, nephews, cousins. Preceded in death by husband Jesse Theodore Heskett, parents Gregg and Rosa Long, 4 brothers, 1 sister, son-in-law, other relatives.
