Omaha National Cemetery Rosemary was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on Oct. 5, 1927 to Leland H. Monzingo and Lucille Ross Monzingo.  She grew up in the Benson area enjoying time with her two sisters, Eleanor and Libby.  She fondly talked of their pet chicken “Vicki” and the 5 cents their dad would give each of them on Saturdays to walk to “downtown” Benson to get candy. After graduating from Benson High, she attended the University of Omaha for one year before procuring a job at the Union Pacific Railroad.   She met Hank Teckmeyer in UP’s Sports Club and they were married on June 9, 1951.  A few years later, and after Tom and Jan had arrived, Rosemary took a part- time job at Bridges Investment Counsel.  Her “BIC” years turned into a full-time career from 1967 until 2016, when she fully retired at the age of 89.  She was a long-time member of Temple Baptist Church, she enjoyed studying her Bible and learning more of her Savior every day.  Rosemary absolutely adored her five grandchildren and loved everything they did. In the last months of her life she was happy to welcome two great grandchildren! Memorials to Omaha Christian Academy or Lincoln Christian School .
