Rose Marie Hoebelheinrich Fuhrer, was born September 20,1952, in Yankton, SD, to parents Clarence and Mercedes Hoebelheinrich. She was raised on the family farm near Crofton, NE, and graduated from Crofton High School in 1970. Following graduation she worked in Yankton at Gurney’s Nursery and Schrivers Department Store prior to moving to Omaha where she met Paul Fuhrer. Rose and Paul married June 9, 1984, and lived and worked in Omaha, Houston, TX and Rochester, NY, with the last 33 years in Omaha. Rose was preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Mercedes; brothers, Kenneth and James Hoebelheinrich; and sister-in-law, LaLonnie Hoebelheinrich. Survived by husband Paul Fuhrer, children Mary Christine (Adam) Evans, Casey Lynn Fuhrer, Benjamin Paul Fuhrer and Suzanne Rose (Alex) Kuklinski; grandchildren, Evelyn Lea Marie Evans and Alina Rose Evans; brothers, Donavon (Beverly) Hoebelheinrich, Dale (MaryAnn) Hoebelheinrich, Arlan (Angela) Hoebelheinrich; sister, Lois (Thomas) Hunhoff; sisters-in-law, Rosanne Hoebelheinrich, Catherine Fuhrer and Janis Fuhrer; brother-in-law, Charles (Debra) Fuhrer; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Sunday, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Roeder Mortuary, 2727 N. 108th St. with PRAYER SERVICE, at 7 p.m.
FUNERAL MASS: 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 29, 2024, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 14330 Eagle Run Dr., Omaha.
INTERMENT: Resurrection Cemetery.
