Ronald W. Dye

3/5/1943 - 2/3/2021 Gretna - Ron Dye was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Sharon Catherine, mother Margaret Pickett and brother Jerry Dye.  He is Survived by his daughters, Dr Paige Rackliffe, Nicole Neemann, Wendi Dye, and Amanda Rathje.  Grandchildren, Leighton, Caden, Liliana, Grace, Ella, Xavier, Faith, Isabella, Ava, and Vivian, sister Gloria Koke and many nieces and nephews.  Also survived by his ex-wife Sharrie Bruning Dye. Ron graduated from Gretna High School and was a life-long Gretna Resident. Ron was a long-term employee of Western Electric where he retired. He was a proud member in the US Army and served in Vietnam. Visitation Monday 5:00 – 7:00 PM with Rosary at 6:30 PM at church. Funeral Service Tuesday 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church 508 Angus St. Gretna. . Interment Omaha National Cemetery. Memorials to the family to be designated later.
