Ronald E. Doss Sr.

Ron Doss passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Willis Doss and Marcella Doss; his sister, Regina; his brother-in-law, Hambone; and his brother, Raymond Doss.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tina Doss; his children: son Jay Doss and his wife Aaron; daughter Samantha McCord and her husband Aaron McCord; son Aaron Doss and his wife Yolanda Doss; daughter Victoria Forbis and her boyfriend Chris Hawthorn; and daughter Whitney Forbis. He is also survived by his brothers, Randy Doss and Rodney Doss; sister Sarah Bright and her husband James Bright; and his 17 grandchildren, all of whom brought him great pride and joy.

Ron worked as a truck driver for 17 years and later was employed by the United States Postal Service in Omaha, Nebraska. He was a hardworking and dedicated provider for his family.

In his free time, Ron enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family—moments he treasured deeply.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m., at Roeder Mortuary, 2727 North 108th Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68164. Final resting will follow at Lewis Township Cemetery.

Ron will be remembered for his strength, his love for his family, and the many lives he touched.
