Robert S. (Bob) Kramer

Bennington – Robert (Bob) Kramer was born in Allentown, PA., the only child of Robert A. and Ruth Kramer. After graduating Allen High School, he joined United States Air Force. He rose to the highest enlisted rank of Chief Master Sergeant. He served 24 years. In July, 1977, he met his beloved Shirley. They married in 1977, before he was assigned to Offutt AFB in Bellevue, NE. He became an instant dad to her four children. He never used the designation "stepdad". The love and adoration was mutual between Bob, the children, and grandchildren.

He also worked at First Data Resources in Omaha after AF retirement, for 18 years. Retiring in 2002. Bob enjoyed photography, traveling, Creighton BlueJays Volleyball and Basketball.

He will be forever loved and forever missed. We cherish his memory

Preceded in death by parents Robert & Ruth, grandson Robbie, great great grandson Miles, Survived by wife Shirley, children Vicki Vidlak, Tina Pounds, Michael (Linda) Pounds, Mark (Nancy) Pounds, 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, numerous family and friends.

Visitation Monday 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Roeder Mortuary. Funeral Service 11:00 AM Tuesday (12/30/25) at Roeder Mortuary. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorials to Team Nebraska or Alzheimer's Association.
