Robert A. Hult

Robert “Bob” Allen Hult, age 82, of Papillion, NE passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023. Bob was born at home in Omaha, Nebraska to Emil and Anna Hult and the youngest of 8 children. He was married to his caring wife, Michele for over 55 wonderful years.

Bob attended Omaha North High School and graduated from the University of Nebraska, majoring in Business. He worked at the phone company for 39 years, retired and then after a year break went back to work in telecommunications sales for another 9 years before retiring again. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family at Hanson Lake over many years and was a big Nebraska fan! He was a loving brother, husband, father and grandfather and fought tough battles with multiple types of cancer. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends and always remembered for having a great sense of humor.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Anna Hult; brothers, Lloyd Hult and Earl Hult; sisters, Harriet Kusleika, Virginia Carpenter and Claudia Taylor; son, Craig Hult.

Bob is survived by his wife, Michele; daughters, Dana Norvell (Tim) and Lisa Roth (Kyle); grandchildren, Joseph, Tyler, Kayden and Isabella; brother, Charles Hult; sister, Laurena McDonnell; many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

VISITATION: Friday, 11/3 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with Prayer Vigil at 6:30 at Roeder Mortuaries, 11710 Standing Stone Dr, Gretna, NE 68028. 

SERVICE: Saturday, 11/4 10:30 a.m. Mass at St. Columbkille Church, 200 E Sixth St, Papillion, NE.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to: Craig Hult Scholarship fund ℅ St. James Seton School.
