Robert Marshal Dawson

Bob Dawson passed away peacefully on March 12, 2023 in his home in Bennington, Nebraska at age 100. Bob honorably served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. He piloted B-17's towards the end of the war. Bob graduated from Iowa State University and worked in advertising for 35 years in Omaha, Nebraska.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Gloria, and his brother, Bill. He is survived by his children, Brad (Jackie), Craig (Terri), Nancy (Kelly), Scott (Faith), nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation is set for Saturday March 18, 2023 from 2 to 4 pm at Roeder Mortuaries, 2727 North 108th Street, Omaha, Nebraska. Memorials are suggested to the Gentiva Foundation.
