Richard P. "Dick" Gutchewsky

January 11, 1938 ~ December 22, 2020 Preceded in death by parents, John J. and Amalia Gutchewsky; siblings, John F. Robert, Ruth Lucielle and Thomas Gutchewsky. Dick was a happily retired U.P. railroader who especially enjoyed classical music, playing golf and pool. He was a faithful parishioner at St. James Catholic Church for 48 years and had a particular respect for the Servants of Mary Sisters, who taught him for many years at Holy Name. Dick is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jane; daughter, Joan Grantz ; sons, Paul , Mark ; sister-in-law, Lois Gutchewsky, the Schaffart family and many other loving family and friends. He also cherished his grandchildren, Jennifer and Austin Blackburn, Anne Sagaysay, Paul Joseph and John-Paul Gutchewsky, Sage Evans, Aria Gutchewsky and Preslee Becker. Memorials are preferred to The Servants of Mary Sisters, 7400 Military Ave, Omaha, NE 68134 or St. James/St. Vincent de Paul Society. Private graveside service at Calvary Cemetery.
