Rich was born in Scranton, PA to the son of Violet (Golecki) and George Moroschak on January 16, 1946. He graduated HS in 1963 and at the age of 18 wanted to serve his country. He enlisted in the US Air Force and received an honorable discharge. It was there he made long time friendships and learned many traits not only to become a super leader but also became a helicopter crew chief. As a problem solver, he often took on difficult projects at work and at home. He used these skills and talents to start his own successful home improvement business for many years.
He made his permanent home in Nebraska. His wife Donna was his great supporter and always by his side. He had a great love for his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Although he was up to date in watching his favorite teams in football, baseball and college volleyball. Rich coached the winning Maplewood girls softball team and dressed as Uncle Sam in their Fourth of July parade. He loved to play cards and board games with family and friends and was always ready for a new challenge.
Besides the love of his family, his great past times were hunting and fishing. He was a great outdoors man and could often be found in a tree stand. He is survived by his wife Donna and sister Nancy Widmann. He was preceded in death by his parents and son David Moroschak.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and will forever remain in our hearts.
