Rebecca Joan Banks (Swarbrick)

Bold and beautiful, she stepped into the light on January 26, 2024. Rebecca was heaven sent and now returned.

Preceded to heaven by parents, William and Fern Swarbrick. Rebecca leaves behind loving sisters, Deborah Berg (Tom), Karen Duffy, and Leslie Amick and many beautiful nieces and nephews. Also former spouse Greg Banks. Rebecca was also blessed and cared for two beautiful Ethiopian children Tiegist and Abeye whom she raised for the last 24 years.

Rebecca sadly passed away surrounded by loving family members after a long battle with a rare lung disease called BOOP. Rebecca was a deeply beloved, kindhearted daughter, sister, and aunt. She was a beautiful soul who spread love, joy and happiness, wherever she went.  

THERE WILL BE NO SERVICE. Thank you for all the prayers from friends and family. The family requests, in lieu of flowers contributions may be donated to Hillcrest hospice, Bellevue Nebraska, or Nebraska Humane Society.
