Randy Lee Salisbury, 59, died December 19, 2022, at his home in Omaha, Nebraska. Randy was born in Ames, Iowa on July 2, 1963. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in Des Moines, Iowa. Randy was a longtime resident of Omaha, Nebraska. He received an Associate of Applied Science Human Services Chemical Dependency Counseling degree from Metropolitan Community College. He was recommended by Lynn Tincher-Ladner, President and CEO of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, to be inducted into the Beta PI Beta Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa. Randy worked on staff at Siena Francis House and Arch Recovery House.
As a recovering addict, Randy had a passion for helping others in recovery. He owned and operated a sober living home for recovering drug and alcohol addictions.
He is survived by his parents Ronald and Dorothy Salisbury, niece Piper Laurie Salisbury, aunts, uncles and many cousins.
A visitation service will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on December 27th at Roeder Mortuary, 2727 N. 108th Street, Omaha, Nebraska.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. January 6th at Lutheran Church of Hope, 925 Jordan Creek Parkway, West Des Moines, Iowa. The family wishes memorial donations to be made to Arch Recovery House Alumni Assoc.
