Peggy J. Olson

Peggy Jane Olson of Omaha is in the presence of our Triune God as of Wednesday, July 23, 2025. She was 75 years of age. She was born on November 30, 1949, in Bismark, North Dakota, to Irene and Theophil (Ted) Roth. Peggy worked in Omaha for the Seldin company as executive secretary to the president of Seldin until 2005. Her passions were her family, friends, shopping, watching Friday shows on cable, and worshiping the Lord. Peggy is remembered as the woman who brought a smile, charm, and charisma that brightened every room that she entered. She was a loving soul who bettered the people around her on a daily basis and refused negativity. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 54 years: Barney; along with their daughter: Trina (Scott); son: Jayson (Jessi); and grandchildren: Noah, Jackson, Emmalea, Tanner, and Nicklas (Guadalupe); great-grandchild: Parker. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Jim.

Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday (7/30/2025) at Roeder Mortuary - Gretna Chapel; Service will be 10:30 AM Thursday (7/31/2025) with luncheon after at Standing Stone Bible Church 321 S Highway 6 Gretna, Nebraska 68028, Private family burial will be held 12:30 PM Friday (8/1/2025) Omaha National Cemetery in Omaha, Nebraska.

Peggy wished that memorials be directed to the American Red Cross or Standing Stone Bible Church Memorial Fund.
