Paula M. Turner

Paula M. Turner, 71, of  Gretna, NE was called home on August 15, 2023, to join her daughter in heaven, after complications with surgery.

Paula was born on October 23, 1951, in Harrisonville, MO.  She was the first born of Larry and Billie Foreman.  Paula would soon become the oldest sibling to a sister and six brothers.  After graduating high school, Paula went to work for the phone company and married Dewey Henry.  While working, Paula had two children, Brandon and Lindsey.  Paula would retire from Sprint very young, but it wasn't in her blood to quit working.  After working several jobs, Paula followed her son and moved to Nebraska where she would be employed by HyVee and work there for 19 years.  Paula loved to work, the only thing more important was her family.  Being a mother and especially a grandmother was Paula's passion.  She had three grandchildren (Annalyce, Hayden and Ethan) that she adored and spoiled.  In her free time Paula loved to exercise on her treadmill and watch QVC.  She had a smile that nobody could forget and would light up a room.

Paula is preceded in death by her daughter Lindsey, parents Larry and Billie, her sister Brenda and two brothers Clyde and Brian.  She is survived by her son Brandon, daughter-in-law Amanda and three grandchildren Annalyce, Hayden and Ethan.  Four brothers Bill, David, Mike and Alan.

Mom has left this earth too soon for those of us that are still here.  We will shed many tears, but we can't forget to smile about the life she lived and the people she touched.  We are going to miss you so much mom.

Visitation Wednesday 5-6:30 With Vigil Service at 6:30 at St Patrick Church. Funeral Service 10.00 AM Thursday (8/24/23) at St. Patrick Catholic Church 508 Angus Street Gretna, Nebraska. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at Gretna, Nebraska.
