Patrick M. Rock

Pat was the very definition of a “family man”. He loved his family more than anything and devoted his time and attention on creating the best possible life for them. Pat was always looking for ways to surround his children and wife with love and support. He was one of the few people who loved the changes brought about by COVID as it allowed him more time at home. One of his most beloved spots was his very own backyard… he called it his “backyard oasis”. He had a wonderful garden and spent much of his free time out playing with the kids. The family loved to create their own mini vacations by camping in the backyard complete with smores and stories.

Pat was both mindful and outgoing, which is rare, he loved being at his computer and problem solving all sorts of technical things most don’t understand. He equally loved showing up for his wife’s Group Fight classes at the YMCA. We still aren’t sure if he loved the workout or just loved seeing her up in front shining like the star, he knew she was.

Pat loved woodworking, audio books, bike rides, and afternoon naps. He loved to grill for his family, play games with his wife and kids and had the biggest, sweet tooth. Pat gave great hugs and loved long talks about anything. He was a great listener and was determined to make sure each of his children knew how loved they were and how important they were to him.

One of Pat’s most important roles was dad. He was very patient and always up for a game of Fortnite or Mario Kart. Heather and Pat had the kind of marriage we all strive for, they loved deeply and forgave easily, and laughed often.

The hole left in this world will never be filled, and he will be missed beyond measure.
