Patricia A Ferrel

OMAHA – Patricia (Pat) A. Ferrel, 78, of Omaha, Neb., died August 1st, 2024 in her home.

Pat was born July 29, 1946, in McCook, Neb., the daughter of the late Ernest and Thelma (Morris) Ruby. She married Roger Ferrel in 1973. They spent their early married life in many locations based on Roger’s army station and job. In 1984 they settled down in Omaha where they raised their family.

She was an English teacher and a para-professional after having kids. Music was one of the great loves of her life, she loved to sing and play her flute. Pat was involved with her local church in many ways. Her greatest passion was her husband, her children, and her grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Thelma Ruby and her sister and spouse Sharon and James Doyle.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Ferrel; her three children and their spouses, Wesley (Stacy) Ferrel, Nathan (Kathryn) Ferrel, and Jeannine Ferrel; her grandchildren, Ethan Ferrel, Allison Ferrel, and Isaac Ferrel. Her siblings and their spouses Richard and Rosie Ruby, and Jackie Dudder. Her honorary grandchildren Reagan and Rowan Kroh and their parents Jeremey and Atina.

Memorial Service Saturday August 10th, 11:00 AM at Presbyterian Church of the Master 10710 Corby Cir, Omaha, NE 68164

 Light luncheon to follow service at the church.
