Preceded in death by parents, Oscar and Sadie, siblings Lucille Rinne, Norma Carstens, Dean, Ralph, Arnold, Marilyn, Larry and many aunts and uncles. Survived by wife of 62 years Mary, children Nick (Karla), Susie (Hank), and Amy (Andy), grandchildren Adam (Rachelle), Jacob (Kayla), Spencer (Kylie), Nichelle (Jacob), Andy and Abby, great-grandchildren Leighton and Stanley, brothers Ray  and Leonard (Patricia), many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Nickolas W. Stolzer was born on 1/20/1936 in Beatrice, NE to Oscar and Sadie Stolzer. He was one of ten children. Nick graduated from Beatrice High School in 1954 and then attended Peru State College where he attained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Arts. He also attained a Master's degree in Guidance and Counseling and a Specialist in Administration. Nick began his career in teaching in the Omaha Public Schools and served the district in various positions over 35 years, including teacher, guidance counselor, assistant principal, Director of Schoolhouse Planning, and Assistant Superintendent of Business Services.

Nick enjoyed nearly 29 years of retirement with his fondest interests including golfing, traveling and, most importantly, spending time with his family and friends. Nick passed away on 1/26/2023 after valiantly battling end stage renal disease.

Visitation Friday 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Roeder Mortuary, 2727 N. 108th St., Omaha, NE.

Funeral Service 11:00 AM Saturday (2/4/2023) at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 5410 Corby St. Omaha, NE.

Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery at a later date.

 In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Paul United Methodist Church, Omaha Education Association, or charity of choice.
