Nell M. Puls

Omaha - Nell Marie Puls, age 87, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025, in Omaha.

Born on July 11, 1937, in Omaha, Nell grew up in Valley, Nebraska, but spent most of her life in Omaha, where she embraced her faith, her family, and her role as a devoted wife, homemaker, and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carl Puls; her parents, Kenneth and Martha (Bolton) Giblin; her sister, Beverly J. Rix; and brother-in-law, Robert G. Rix.

Nell is survived by her niece, Julie Ann Rix of Omaha; nephew, Robert D. (Julie) Rix of Omaha; Joni (Eric) Eitzmann of Jacksonville, FL; great-nephews, Jacob Rix of Sacramento, CA, and Ryan Rix of Omaha; and great-nieces, Erica Jade Eitzmann and Eva Porto of Florida. She is also lovingly remembered by Carl’s cousins: Karen Dickey of Omaha, Ron Wulf of Kennard, and Roger (Deb) Wulf of Omaha.

Nell was a loving wife to Carl and found joy in caring for their cherished Pomeranian, Buddy. She was a devout Christian whose faith guided her life and relationships. Nell and Carl shared a special bond through their travels, including a deeply meaningful journey to the Holy Land. Never shy to share her beliefs, Nell was a steadfast and gentle witness to the hope and love she found in her faith.
