Omaha - Nancy W Swanson, age 88, passed away peacefully with family by her side on February 24,2020.

Nancy Wynona Anderson was born on November 3, 1931, the youngest of 5 children to Elmer E and Agnes Anderson in Omaha Ne. She married Clark F Swanson on September 20, 1953 at Augustana Lutheran Church.

She was a homemaker while her children were young and then worked for Skyline Manor. She retired from there after 25 years. After retirement she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, attending school and sporting events and many other activities. Family was her heart and always came first. She always had a loving caring heart for others and treated everyone like family.

Nancy is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Clark, infant daughter Laura Lynn, brother Wesley Anderson and sister Elvera Torrison.

She is survived by her children, Scott Swanson, Bruce Swanson and Laura DeJong. Grandchildren Brianna McClure, Kevin Swanson, Brenden DeJong, Austin Swanson and Brett DeJong. Great Grandchildren Aubree McClure, Landon Swanson, Easton DeJong, Ava McClure and Theodore McClure. Sisters Lanette Witt, and Bobetta Hailicka Gatewood, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Her most favorite titles were Mom, Grandma, GMA and great grandma GG
