Nadine Somerville - Smith

Nadine Somerville-Smith was born Nov 24, 1952 to Ms. Annie Laura &  Mr. Jim Frank Somerville in Covington, TN.

Ms. Nadine accepted Christ at an early age and was saved and baptized at Shiloh Baptist Church. Ms. Smith was a graduate of Ripley Public Schools.

Nadine moved to Omaha, NE in 1975. That same year, she began her career as manager of Skeet’s Ribs-N- Chicken alongside her dear friend , the late Mr. David Deal. She retired from the food service industry in Oct. of 2014. Ms. Smith had many passions and strived to make sure that she tried them all. Her love for children, made her open her home to childcare from 1994-1997. Her passion for healthcare, motivated her to become a CAN/MA  in 1995 & she enjoyed that career field in home health care until she departed from this life .

Nadine was the best mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend that anyone could ever ask for. She was a lover of life. She was a kind and caring soul and welcomed all with a smile an open arms. Nadine had a very contagious smile but if you knew Nadine , you knew she had the most unforgettable walk! She kind of just glided as if her feet never left the ground.
