Misako T. LaChapelle

Misako, age 90 of Omaha, passed away on July 2, 2017 at Brighton Garden's nursing facility after suffering a major stroke over one year ago. She is survived by her husband James LaChapelle in Omaha, relatives in Japan, as well as nieces and nephews in Japan and the USA. Misako was born and raised in Wakayama, Japan. She was in food service for the University of Nebraska at Omaha for 30 years. She was an avid gardener, participated in Japanese floral arrangements hosted by Ikebana International Omaha #60, and was a great cook. Special thanks to all of her wonderful friends that faithfully visited to lift her spirits.
