Michele Renae was born on Friday, January 20th 1956 to her parents Francis Mae Anderson and Myrtice Chamberlain in Omaha, Nebraska. At the tender age of one, she contracted polio and meningitis, which could have ended her precious life, BUT GOD!!!
She went on to excel in school, attending Sharon SDA school for grades 1-4 and Horace Mann for 5th grade in Omaha. They moved to Seattle Washington in 1967 where she attended Spruce Street School for 6th grade. She was a straight A student when she went to Sharples Junior High, and in her 8th grade year, she was found doing he older brother Ray's homework, which resulted in her advancement to the 9th grade. She attended Franklin High School for grades 10-12.
Michele became a mother in February of 1971 and gave birth to her second child 3 years later. They moved back to Omaha in 1977, and she gave birth to her 3rd child the same year. Loving and living her life She spent more than 20 years as an employee at Mutual of Omaha. It was during that time that she gave birth to two more children, married her husband, John Winston, and even became a grandmother.
In 1999 she moved with her husband John Sr. and youngest son John III to Bloomington, Illinois. It was there that in August of 2007, she was ordained and began her ministry through Christ at Christian Faith Center. They returned to Omaha in October of 2013 and remained there until her untimely death on June 20, 2025.
Michele was a fun-loving comedian of sorts. Although she was restricted in her later years, she enjoyed traveling and attending sports events, plays, and musicals. She loved music and was affectionately called a human jukebox. Her closet was full of clothes, mainly suits for church, which she attended regularly because she loved the Lord. She loved her dog babies, and she loved Pepsi but absolutely hated Coca-Cola.
She loved, was loved, and will be truly missed.
