Michael J. Crone

Mike was born in Ainsworth, NE, the youngest son of Floyd and Shirley Crone.  He graduated from high school in Ainsworth in 1983, and received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Nebraska – Kearney.

After college, he moved to O’Neill, NE where he worked as a claims adjuster.  In 1995, he moved to Omaha, where he met Kristin.  They married in 1998.  He owned several franchise locations of Frontier Adjusters and continued to work in claims throughout his life. 

Most importantly, Mike had a huge, kind and tender heart.  He was devoted to his family and very proud of his kids.  He was a lifelong Husker fan and loved to watch college sports of any variety and stream Ainsworth sports whenever he could. 

Mike is survived by his wife, Kristin, and their children Owen, Abby, and Cooper; his mother, Shirley; his brother Don (Vickie); and nieces, nephews, many cousins, extended family members, and dear friends. We know he is now resting in peace and he will forever be in our hearts.

Services will be held on Thursday (12/28/2023) at Roeder Mortuary, 11710 Standing Stone, Gretna, NE. Visitation from 1 – 2 PM with Funeral Service at 2 PM. Services will be livestreamed below.
