Maxine Louise Frazee, age 82, of Omaha, NE passed away at her home with her family by her side on Sunday, February 25. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28 at Roeder Mortuary and the funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 29 at Westside Church, with a luncheon to follow.
Maxine was born in Creston, IA on July 4, 1941 to Lorna Christine Sylvia (Mohr) and Willie John Freihage. She graduated from Creston Senior High School.
On August 14, 1960, Maxine and Dean Donald Frazee were united in marriage. They resided in Omaha, NE and were blessed with two sons, Dean and Jeffrey. Maxine held various jobs throughout her life including working as a waitress, food preparation at Prairie Lane Elementary School, and also clerical and paraprofessional work at Boys Town.
Maxine was a kind, loving soul who loved her family and God above all else. She also had some wonderful lifelong friends that she enjoyed spending time with. In her later years, she enjoyed the fellowship and friendship of her church ladies, the Glitter Girls, at Westside Church. They became an important part of her life.
Maxine is survived by her sons Dean III and Jeffrey (Cher); grandchildren Andrew (Emma), Brianna, Aidan, and Noah; great-grandchildren Hunter, Bennett, Crew, and Calia; sisters Shirley (Fred) Madison, Linda Hixson; and brothers Howard Freihage and Lyle Freihage.
