Maxine E. McFarland (Klocke)

1/9/1927 - 5/10/2018

Maxine was the second daughter, born to Clem and Elizabeth Klocke, in Dedham, Iowa. She had 15 brothers and sisters, who she loved and cared for deeply.

She married Gene McFarland and they raised 9 children together. When raising her children, she worked as a “Street Sheerer,” mowed lawns, and hauled water. She loved to garden, watch ball games, play cards, sew, and bake.

Maxine was a devout member of St. Philip Neri Church.

Maxine cherished her time with family and friends and know that she loved each of you.

We know after all the welcoming was done, she said, “get the cards out.”

Visitation Sunday 4:00 - 6:00 PM with Rosary at 6:00 PM; Funeral Mass 11:00 AM Monday all at St. Philip Neri Church 8200 N. 30th Street Omaha, Nebraska; Interment Mount Hope Cemetery Omaha, Nebraska
