God blessed us with Maurtaé Lamont Cole. He was born July 1, 2011, in Bellevue, Nebraska.
Maurchupie, as his dad would call him, was a fourth-grader at Lothrop Elementary. He enjoyed sports and playing video games. He had BIG DREAMS of doing whatever his big brother was doing. We would ask Maurtaé, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” He would say, “I want to work at Applebee’s like Lamont.”
Maurtaé loved being a big brother to Maurjon. He made sure no one in the house could say or do anything to his baby brother. But not least, Maurtaé loved being with his friends. No matter what he did, it had to involve his buddies. They all loved and looked up to him. If you met Maurtaé, you couldn’t help but love him; his shyness, his smile, and his personality always brightened up the whole room.
Maurtaé will forever be missed by many. Although he’s gone in body, he will remain in our hearts forever.
Maurtaé Lamont Cole departed this life on April 20, 2021 in St. Louis, Missouri.
