Mary J. Brooks

March 4, 1940 – March 1, 2016

Age 75 of Omaha.   Preceded in death by mother and father, Laura Bell Phillips and King Johnson; sister, Margeret Thomas; brother, Dave Elzy; four brothers-in-law; husband, James E. Brooks and daughter, Roxanne Brooks. Mary leaves to cherish her memory sisters, Jean Fears, Nonetha Smith, and Suzie Wright; brother, Elder King Johnson, all of Omaha, NE; two sons, James E. Brooks, Adelanto, CA and Gregory Brooks, Omaha, NE; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friend, Floyd Hill.

VISITATION: Tuesday, March 8, 6-8 pm. FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday, March 9, 10 am; all at Roeder Mortuary, Ames Chapel 4932 Ames Ave. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
