Marlene was born in Omaha, NE to Robert L. Siford and Dorothy E. Winchell Siford on August 2, 1933. Marlene attended elementary and middle school in Omaha, NE. She obtained her GED certificate in 1986.

In 1952 she married Leroy C Kuehl. They lived in Millard, NE where they had their twin daughters Mary Patricia & Margaret Ann in April of 1953, and Marcia Lee who was born March 1960. In December of 1960 they picked up their Christmas tree, only breaking a couple of ornaments, and moved to a farm in Springfield, NE where Marlene lived until she passed away on January 9, 2023. Marlene worked for a short time in the early 70’s as a secretary at Boys Town, along with helping her husband LeRoy farm, raise hogs, cattle, and chickens.

She loved being outside working in the yard with her flowers, feeding her birds, and all of the wild critters on her farm. She especially loved her cats – Whitee, Fox, & Tony, along with numerous neighbor cats.
She enjoyed celebrating any occasion with her family at the longhorn steakhouse and going to movies, especially James Bond & crime shows! 

Marlene is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, LeRoy; brother, Robert; sister, Gerry; daughter, Mary and grandson, Josh. She is survived by her daughters, Margaret (Ray), Marcia (Mark); son-in-law, John, 5 grandsons, 9 great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
She will be dearly missed.               

Visitation: Monday from 5 - 7 PM at Roeder Mortuary. Funeral Service: Tuesday 10:00 AM (1/17/2023) at Roeder Mortuary, 11710 Standing Stone, Gretna, NE. Burial: Mt. Auburn   Cemetery of Omaha, NE. Memorials to the Nebraska Humane Society.
