Marjorie L. (Marge) Anderson

Omaha - Marjorie Louise Anderson was born January 5, 1930 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa to Gilbert and Mable McCoy. She was raised on an acreage in Des Moines, IA. She had many happy memories with her family and her cousins growing up. She went to Lincoln High School in Des Moines, IA, but moved in her senior year to Cincinnati, IA, where she graduated in 1948. She worked at Look Magazine in Des Moines and lived with her grandmother where she met the love of her life Kenneth L. Anderson. She was married May 15, 1949 in Council Bluffs, IA. After their marriage they moved to Corydon, IA. Three children; Karen, Sharon, and Kendall were born in Centerville, IA, and raised in Corydon. They moved briefly to Des Moines and then moved to Atlantic, Iowa in 1962. Her son Kevin was born in 1968. She had happy memories with her husband’s family. Her husband Kenneth L. Anderson died in 1988 and she moved into her daughter’s home in in 1990. She became a member of Christ Community Church in Omaha, NE. She loved Jesus, her church, and her Sunday school class.

She is survived by her daughters Karen Anderson, Sharon Anderson, sons Kendall Anderson, Kevin (Melissa) Anderson, three grandsons, Trevor Anderson, Noah Anderson, and Nicholas Anderson, granddaughter Tawnye (Bob) Parks, two great grandchildren Peyton “Pepper” Elizabeth Parks, and Robert Becker Parks, her brother Robert McCoy, and Dixie (Dan) Thompson, and many nieces and nephews)
