Marilyn A. Jansen

Marilyn died at age 83 of Parkinson’s Disease. She was the only child of Dorothy and Ben Masters. She lived in Omaha nearly her entire life and graduated from Omaha South High School in 1953. She met her adorable husband, Chuck, in 9th grade and was married for 63 happy, wonderful years.

Marilyn was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader for Kim, Lori, and Kelly and many of their friends through the years. She was a very successful AVON Representative, was also an administrative assistant for 10 years at Lindstrom Insurance Agency, and more recently owned “Homestead” Antiques in Papillion, Nebraska with Gloria Ried. So many of her retired years were spent at the family cabins in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, which was one of her absolute favorite places.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 63 years: Charles Jansen; children: Kim Jansen , Lori Goff, Michael Jansen, Kelly Prine; and grandsons: Jared Goff, Nate Goff, Spencer Goff, Wil Prine.

Memorial Service 11:00 AM Thursday with Visitation 1 hour prior, at Roeder Mortuary 2727 N. 108th St Omaha, Nebraska
