Maralyn K. Adkins

Born in Omaha raised in Blair Nebraska graduated from Blair high school 1959. She was married a total of 5 times. She retired from Methodist hospital after many years being one of the first but I believe the first female custodian and I end her career as head of the housekeeping department at Methodist midtown she obtained her associates degree in environmental sciences from Creighton. she enjoyed bingo taking occasional bingo vacations. She also loved ceramics in her younger years she loved to crochet. Having three children of her own and adopting 2 more teenager in her early 70s Preceded in death by son Alex and granddaughter Melissa. Survived by her husband of 17 years Beecher Adkins. Also survived by her children William Tammy)Knight, Mardie Rugger, Dean Knight, Adrian Adkins. Step children Richard Adkins and Gina Winter. Grand children Carl Bruber, Jennifer Wickiser, Lisa Ceballos, Jessica Shannon, Brian Knight, Casey Winter, JessicaTran. 11 great grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren . Also survived by her beloved dogs or as she called them her babies Buddy and Eva.

Visitation Sunday 3:00 - 5:00 PM; Funeral Service 10:00 AM Monday October 15, 2018 all at Roeder Mortuary  2727 N. 108th Street Omaha, Nebraska; Interment Blair Cemetery Blair, Nebraska.
