Lois A. Lenz

Omaha - Lois was born in Omaha, NE to Marvin and Mildred Munson. The Munson family Included Lois and 2 brothers and 4 sisters. They lived on a farm for several years before moving to the city. She graduated from Omaha North High School in 1953 and went to work as a comptometer operator at Mobil Oil Company. On June 29, 1959, she married Harold Lenz and they had 3 children, Shari, Susan and Jeffrey.

When the grandchildren came along she was thrilled. She was a hands on Grammy who spent a lot of time with the kids. She played video games, had sleepovers, took them places and made their “special treats” when they came over. She loved attending their games and activities.

Lois decided to return to work once the kids were older. She worked as an administrative secretary at Butternut Bread for several years before moving on to loan processing at Four Points Credit Union in 1986. She enjoyed working there for 37 years and created many lifetime friendships.

Lois was a faithful servant of God throughout her life. She attended Mt. Olive Lutheran Church for many years until she moved and joined St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church.
