11710 Standing Stone Dr. Gretna, NE 68028 332-0090 Linda Lee Austin age 75 of Louisville, NE was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and elementary school teacher. She departed this world from her home in Louisville NE on Saturday, December 4 th , 2021, surrounded by family and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Born 9/14/1946 in Ogallala, NE to John and Lorene Ingwersen. She attended elementary and high school in Julesburg, CO, graduating in 1964. She was confirmed in the Saint Paul Lutheran Church in Julesburg, CO. On 1/3/1965 she married Keith Austin at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Julesburg, CO. She had many interests that she pursued:  exploring state parks, sightseeing, camping, gardening, cooking, baking, hosting friends and family, tea parties and entertaining her granddaughters.  She was an avid walker, outdoor enthusiast, loved her years as an elementary school teacher, and bible study fellowships. All were precious to her and provided great joy in her life. Linda is survived by husband: Keith Austin of Louisville, NE; daughter: Tami Austin of Broomfield, CO; son: Paul and granddaughters Meagan, Sarah, and Katheryn Austin of Gretna, NE. She is also survived by her sisters: Donna Voelinger and Carol Goto. She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Lorene Ingwersen; in-laws: Leland and Bertha Austin; and siblings: Velma, Dennis, and Rick Ingwersen. In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent in honor of Linda Austin to ALS in the Heartland 1320 S 119 th ST, Omaha NE 68144  or  Endless Journey Hospice Foundation 10831 Old Mill RD Ste 400, Omaha, NE 68154.
